These are tiny thin coiled spiral shells made from metal {not a real seashell!}. They are silver plated and have been given a beautiful antiqued finish {blackened in the crevices to highlight the details}. They flutter around quietly and gently on their silver rhodium plate kidney-style ear wires. Also available in an antiqued copper/bronze finish here {see last two photos} in my shop.

Total length of this entire earring from where inserted into ear is approx 1-5/8 inches {41mm}. At its widest point, this teeny shell is approx 1/8 inch {approx 4mm}. NOTE: My mannequin in photo #5 has very petite, smaller than average ears. Please be sure to double check the measurements I've given here against your own ears.

This jewelry is handmade and delicate. As with any costume/plated jewelry, please do not wear while sleeping, swimming, bathing, exercising, rough play with kids/pets, etc. Clean by polishing with a soft dry cloth after each use. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in damage, discoloration or tarnish.
